|1 pkg (200 g)||Italpasta Prepared Dinner Macaroni and Cheese, White Cheddar|
|1 can (213 mL)||Italpasta Pizza Sauce|
|4 strips||cooked bacon, crumbled|
|1/4 tsp (1 mL)||dried oregano|
|1/4 tsp (1 mL)||each salt and pepper|
|1 cup (250 mL)||shredded mozzarella cheese|
|1/2 cup (125 mL)||pepperoni slices|
|Red chili flakes (optional)|
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Prepare macaroni and cheese according to package directions. Stir in pizza sauce, bacon, oregano, salt and pepper; transfer to greased 8-inch (2 L) square baking dish.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella and arrange pepperoni slices evenly over top.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and macaroni is heated through. Broil for 1 minute or until golden on top. Sprinkle with red chili flakes (if using).
Tip: Add sautéed sliced mushrooms, sliced olives and diced peppers if desired.
